- The energy market becomes more competitive, so companies must efficiently manage their processes and that is why the Management System models are implemented.
Due to the constant growth of the organization, and analyzing that international standards have several aspects in common, nuvoil chose to integrate three Management Systems into one System [ISO 9001 for quality, ISO 14001 for the environment and OHSAS 18001 (ISO 45001 in the future) for the prevention of occupational risks].
This way, nuvoil´s Integrated Management System (IMS) unifies efforts towards one direction achieving greater simplicity and efficiency in business management in addition to better competitiveness conditions.
Definition of nuvoil´s Integrated Management System (IMS)
The IMS is a platform that allows the unification of a company´s Management Systems, which previously worked independently, in order to transform data into relevant
information for decision making, thus facilitating the achievement of the proposed objectives and compliance with the stakeholders´ expectations and requirements.
Nuvoil, as a Mexican group, has decided to get involved in the construction of a strategy that allows the sustainable development of the energy sector. Its management model formally frames social responsibility in three axes: economic, environmental and social. In 2016, due to this corporate philosophy, the group voluntarily decided to be part of the United Nations (UN) Global Compact and join the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 2017) of the 2030 Agenda.
Currently, the group has presence all over the Gulf of Mexico, it has started operations in the Pacific and celebrates 20 years of experience this 2017.
