Veracruz, Mexico on April 1st, 2022.- headquartered in the city of Boca del Río Veracruz, Nuvoil Business Group held its Annual Meeting 2022 for the ninth year in a row, in which, as every year, the governing body did the accountability exercise and results presentation.
25 years of growth, advancing together towards the future
The meeting was held in the framework of the commemoration of the 25th anniversary. This is a reason why the event was inaugurated by José Villela, doctor and Paralympic swimmer, for subsequently giving rise to the presentation of 2021 results and 2022 plan by the directors of Emgas, Geolis and TFS Turbine Field Solutions companies, who also shared successful projects in Mexico and Latin America.
Emgas, 25 years innovating in the natural gas industry
During his intervention, Lauro Zamora, director of Emgas, shared some outstanding data about his management during the past year.
“At the end of December of 2021, we reached an operational reliability of 99.50%. Other achievements were the commissioning and reconfiguration of PEGHA Perdiz, the installation of motor-driven compressors in assets of the south region and the assignment of a humid sour gas conditioning contract of Ixachi field in accordance with NOM-001-SECRE-2010 in the EMC Papan in Veracruz.”

TFS expands its reach and projects to Latin America.
Gerardo González, the operations manager of TFS, shared one of the most important projects in the current year, the first project in Colombia, thus adding one more achievement in the history of the company at the international level:
“The success of this project was possible due to the teamwork, proper planning and determination of our people. We are so proud since we have reached the objectives of each participating administrative and technical member of the TFS staff and obviously for achieving 100% customer satisfaction, knowing that TFS can deliver the best results.”

Portable Separation Modules, an alternative of Geolis to increase production
Edi Gómez, Project Manager of Geolis, introduced the benefits provided by the MSP for the production in fields with adverse conditions as a consequence of its type of crude oil.
“The Portable Separation Modules represent an alternative to manage the well variations, maintaining an increase in production and reducing the gas emissions because, since they are modular installations, the necessary equipment should be used according to the production requirements. The objective was achieved by reducing the back pressure to the well, installing the surface equipment, thus causing a pressure drop of more than 50%.”

Papan, a project that concentrates the experience acquired in more than 25 years
“Papan is a wide and complex project in which we add all the experience acquired during these 25 years. The plant is constructed from scratch, and all the following processes will take place there: sweetening, refrigeration, compression and generation. This project will let us produce around 6 thousand LPG gas barrels per day, which is equivalent to supply gas for more than a million families per month”, said Mudar Jamal, Project Engineer of Nuvoil Group.

Likewise, the Ministry of Work Health, which is led by Dr. Miriam Barriga, presented the actions, results and thoughts to face the second year of the Covid-19 pandemic.

This event also had the participation of Mariano Hernández Palmeros, founder and president of the Board of Directors of Nuvoil Group, who thanked the staff:
“We realize that it has been gratifying to walk by your side for 25 years. I’m proud of your personal and professional growth. With these results, the new generations show us that we are on the right track. I hope this growth is for the benefit of our families, our society and our country (which are our reason for being).”
Finally, José Edel Álvarez Delong, the Director General, gave the closing message and presented the guidelines and the Group’s vision to face the energy sector trends in the next few years with the aim of transcending as a responsible Mexican Business Group.
“This company is not more than you. There isn’t any asset, turbine or engine driven compressor that approaches the value-added created by our people, so the most valuable asset is and will keep being you. We are a company made up by people, and all the achievements throughout these 25 years have been reached exclusively by people. Congratulations!” – said José Edel Álvarez Delong – the Director General.
