nuvoil received this recognition for its “Todos a la Cultura” Program, which was the first nomination to the award in the company’s history and was the only Mexican oil and gas industry group considered for this important decision.
This distinction was received by companies such as Coca Cola, Toks, Nestlé, Movistar, Santander, Cinépolis and Metlife and nuvoil obtained it in the category of “Quality of life in the company” in the framework of the XI International Seminar on Best Practices of Corporate Social Responsibility in Cancun, Quintana Roo, from October 12 to 14.
Recognition to the Best Practices of Corporate Social Responsibility granted to nuvoil in the category of Quality of life in the company.
“This recognition motivates us to continue and represents for us a deep commitment to the country’s sustainable future through the construction of an organizational culture,” said the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Engineer Mariano Hernández Palmeros. The President said that in this way the business group “is moving steadily towards a vision in which profitability is reconciled with corporate responsibility, making tangible a concept included in our mission since 2014: to be socially responsible.”

The “Todos a la Cultura” Program is a space specially designed for nuvoil employees.
In this way, nuvoil is the only company in the oil and gas industry that has been awarded with a program that through art and culture contributes to the construction of peace in areas of insecurity in Mexico.
The “Todos a la Cultura” program is an innovative practice that nuvoil has been developing since 2014 in collaboration with the civil association Arbor Ars. The initiative contributes to the generation of peace and seeks to alleviate a national situation of indices of insecurity and conflict in oil and gas zones in the country. In addition to the art, and the Arbor Ars, the initiative encourages work and family coexistence, counteracts the burn out syndrome and promotes culture with all its collaborators, through artistic and cultural activities.

For its part, the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI) is a pioneering institution and leader in the promotion of this new business culture. 17 years ago created the Recognition of CSR Best Practices to distinguish companies that implement projects and programs that, in addition to being good for the business, reported social or environmental benefits in four basic areas: Quality of life in the company, Linkage with the community, Care and prevention of the environment, and Business ethics.
