As part of its corporate social responsibility strategy, Nuvoil business group obtained the distinction as a Socially Responsible Company (ESR®, by its Spanish acronym) from the Mexican Center for Philanthropy [Centro Mexicano para la Filantropía (Cemefi)] and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility (AliaRSE, by its Spanish acronym).
ESR® distinction awarded in Mexico to all the leading companies which demonstrate social responsibility in their management as part of their business culture and strategy. This recognition is given within the framework of the XI Latin American Meeting of Socially Responsible Companies named “RSE and ODS: strategic synergy”, which will take place from May 14 to 16 in Mexico City. Samsung, DHL Express México and Deloitte consulting group are among the companies that also obtained the distinction for the first time.
Mariano Hernández, chairman of the board of directors, explained that the social responsibility is embedded in the fundamental purpose of the company as one of the main pillars of the management model.
“Being socially responsible is a strategic point for Nuvoil to transcend as a sustainable organization. That is why we promote actions which add value to our relationships with our interest groups in terms of governance, quality of life in the communities, corporate volunteer programs, environment protection and creation of alliances with civil associations and university institutions in such a manner that we contribute to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals of 2030 Agenda”. Proof of the foregoing is that we have obtained this distinction due to our corporate social responsibility practices. The most important thing of this distinction is what it implies, the steps to reach this goal. Although the distinction is received by Nuvoil, we would like to honor our partners by expressing our gratitude for making this possible now that we face a new Mexican energetic scenario”.
The company was recognized by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (Cemefi) and Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility (AliaRSE) for its active commitment to the corporate governance, quality of life at work, environment, peace, community relations and alliances.
