On Tuesday, June 19, the Nuvoil Mexican Business Group was invited by the Activo Integral Bloques Norte of Pemex in Reynosa and Poza Rica to participate in the lecture series organized every year to commemorate the World Environment Day.
This year the theme revolved around the topic defined by United Nations (UN): “A planet #SinContaminacionPorPlásticos” (Free of plastic pollution).
In both events, Nuvoil shared its best practices, especially the actions and results as regards the preservation of species and care of beaches in the Gulf of Mexico.
It highlighted how these actions are part of its corporate social responsibility strategy, which involves the participation of civil associations, corporate volunteer actions, universities and communities.
Finally, the director of terrestrial projects of Nuvoil in Mexico reaffirmed during his presentation:
“Before the new energetic model, for Nuvoil, being responsible is being competitive. As a Mexican company, our business and culture model are based on a responsible management.”
