- The European Quality Assurance (EQA) organization awarded recognition to the nuvoil Mexican business group.
- nuvoil received the distinction for its “IMS” system, an own model that along with Social Responsibility are the pillars of the Business Management Model.

On October 29, 2016, at the corporate headquarters in Veracruz, Mexico, the Mexican oil company nuvoil received recognition from the certification body EQA European Quality Assurance.
nuvoil received this recognition for its “IMS” acronyms with which it identifies its Integral Management System, an own and innovative design that develops and implements since 2014, with the objective of generating information to make the right decisions; together with Corporate Social Responsibility are the pillars that sustain the Management Model of the Mexican business group.
The IMS encompasses all relevant areas for the company in a single objective, so that it integrates international and national standards, of which ISO 9001 is currently certified in terms of quality, ISO 14001 in environment, OHSAS 18001 in safety and health at work, and the ISO 26000 Standard on Corporate Social Responsibility (the latter serves as a guide and is not certifiable).
During the recognition ceremony, companies that are part of the group received IMS certification, “in this way we are moving forward with firm steps towards the fulfillment of the vision and continue to transmit the organizational culture of the corporate” said the representative of the Assembly of Council of the group.
The Director of EQA México, Francisco Hernández, concluded by expressing: “For the dedication to drive their processes to a successful path, we give this recognition to the nuvoil business group because quality is not an accident, is always the result of an intelligence effort.”
