- Planta Perdiz (Perdiz Plant), which is designed, built and operated by Nuvoil, processes the gas coming from Ixachi, considered as the terrestrial field with more gas resources in Mexico.
Processing capacity
The sour humid gas sweeting plant in the Perdiz Separation Battery has capacity to process 180 MMpcd of sour natural gas and condition excess sulfhydric acid and carbon dioxide from 1,100 ppm (parts per million) to 4.25 ppm.
Cutting-edge Technology
Its innovative and unique technology allows regenerating and reusing amine in its process, thus reinforcing the operational efficiency and project maintenance.
It complies with the regulation and quality control of natural gas according to the NOM-001-SECRE-2010, issued by the Natural Gas Control National Center (CENAGAS, by its Spanish acronym).
The results of this plant will benefit the society since it will reuse natural gas produced in Ixachi field in the state of Veracruz, reducing costs and contributing to reduce the greenhouse gas emission.
During the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) stage, more than 300 local employment positions were created in the periphery of Tierra Blanca, Boca del Río and Veracruz, in which strict safety and health measures were applied according to both national and international standards.
